In legonian spellcast-theory, a phoenix belongs to the elementals and is a magical creature. The Phoenix consists of pure fire and looks like a big bird-like monster with long bill and 2 flat wings.
A phoenix only appears in one specific spell created by Merlin and used by the blue mages until today. This creates the firebird who will fight for his master, protect him or follow any other orders. Like all spell-bound magic, the effect doesn't hold for long. Once casted, the Phoenix is dying soon but its memories and characteristics are bound to its master and go to hm. If the mage casts his personal phoenix again, the new creature can remember everything the last one saw and did. Most mages assume, that the phoenix itself is a magic expanse of the caster's mind bound by fire. This way, phoenix are often used as spying eyes.
To call a phoenix, the mage uses the sentence: "Apperiosa phoenixus!!"
