The Satyrs are very shy and avoid contact to other races. Closely accepted is cultural and philosophical exchange with elven priests and Centaurs, which they see as their brothers as guardians of the woods. All Satyrs are spiritual and believe to be once with the mother earth, which can be interpreted as [[The big Something (North Legonian Monotheism)the big something]] as well. That's a reason why the elves are seen as (Elsahverni), "learning young race", who one day may become their followers. Satyrs live in peace and symphony with the nature and try not to change their environment. Elemental ghosts, especially Dryads are seen as sisters, probably they were the original creators of the Satyrs. Nu'chunks, humans and other civilisated species are seen as evil and traitors of mother earth. But different to the agressive Centaurs, Satyrs are pacifists and never use violence to any beeing. All beeings that are still able to listen to the "big symphony", means are respectful to mother earth, are welcome and can get a part of the wisdom, the Satyrs collected over their live.

Most Satyrs are living alone and staying on a local place like a favourite tree or lake to guard over the plants and animals sharing the place. When not talking with visitors they're walking around listening or giving their part to the big symphony.

Satyrs belong to the long-living races and most intelligent people on Legonia. Their home are the elven forests.

Biology

A Satyr is a tall slim humanoid with a capricorn-like head and two hooves. Most of them has thick dark-grey, black or brown fur and with leaves and plants growing out of their skin, stereotypic is a long leaf tendril as hair. The Satyr body seems to exist in a direct symbiose with the nature, so they can understand the thoughs of animals and trees and flowers, it's also said that some very old Satyrs began to root on a favourited place. The lifespan is a big mystery, so the Satyrs are seen as an immortal race created long before the mortal beeings. On other side it's also possible that they can become just very very old so not many of their people died by age yet. It's possible to murder a Satyr which surely is seen as one of the most holy crimes in the elven world. Instead of food, Satyrs gain energy by photosynthesis. A biological reproduction doesn't exist and ther're no different genders while a Satyr is always seen as male from other races. To others they deny any information about their own beeings but they agree to be an ancient race with memories of long forgotten centuries.

Culture

The Satyrs are very shy and avoid contact to other races. Closely accepted is cultural and philosophical exchange with elven priests and Centaurs, which they see as their brothers as guardians of the woods. All Satyrs are spiritual and believe to be once with the mother earth, which can be interpreted as the big something as well.
