His main characteristics are all negative abilities like irascibility, laziness, stupidity or arrogance. In amazon mythology, Arkando was too weak to fight the demon gods, so his sister had to end the war. Also, Arkando created the men because this is the less worthful gender. It doesn't surprise, that the amazones don't praise him, but he appears in many tales, allegories and ceremonies. In pictures and scultpures he's shown as small, often fat and ugly man, sometimes as weak, old man.
