At least triply tall than the strongest orc, the Troll is one of the few giant humanoids. That's why people called them giant trolls firstly, because orcs were called trolls for a short time.
Their origin is assumed on the eastern continent.
Biology
From scientific view, only the hewers of the dentition are similiar. A troll has broad shoulders and a muscular breast while pelvis and legs are very small. Their skincolour can variate between green and brown. The trolls alway walk in ducked position to be ready to attack everytime.
Culture
Strong but stupid, free trolls live in big hordes as primitive meat-eaters and hunters.
But over the years, orcs began to train them as powerful mercenary creatures in their army.
