Harpies are descriped as chimaeras with a bird-like body and human female heads. While it's not clear if their origin is magical or had an own evolution, most Therians fear the noisy creatures.
A harpy's intelligence is limited but higher than for normal animals so a swarm of hunting harpies can trap even humans and other humanoid races to kill and eat them.
Main living area for harpies is the Therian peninsula and some other abandoned places on the eastern continent.
