History
- ~760 o.C. Humos tribes build first bigger settlements and start developing social structures. The power to create an own culture so early was given by the soul of the first pharao in Insaani mythology. From this day on, humans are intelligent. The demongods saw this as betrayal and created their own races, the demons
- 775 o.C. Tut-Alphas are mentioned as first human pharao of the Old empire but his kingdom just consisted of a few settlements. It’s unknown where the empire had its center but other settlements are fought and conquered soon.
- 790 o.C. Tut-Alphas dies or disappeared. Ancient scriptures in the desert of hazzradin eternos mention Tut-Ank’Amin as new praised god.
- ~800 o.C. While Tut-Ank’Amin spreaded conquering crusades to south and east, over-population forced human settlers to develop new farming methods and creation of new villages at the ocean of juvenile. The Humos who stayed named themselves Humos‘ Insaani, the travellers Humos‘barbarians.
- 820 o.C. Tut-Ank’Amin died and left the throne of the old empire to his son Nepht’ahd I.
- 841 o.C. After Nepht’ahd I. died, Nepht’ahd II. became pharao.
- 871 o.C. Nepht’adh II. died, and Nepht’adh III. became pharao.
- 873 o.C. Nepht’adh III. was killed by a demon after his brother Moha-Jud’a helped it to break into the palace unseen.
- 881 o.C. Tut-Methus was crowned as pharao of the Old Empire.
- 939 o.C. Tut-Methus was defeated as last pharao in the Battle of thousands winds in Multhis. It was the last big try of the old empire to fight the demonraces of the eastern continent. The following years, blood wraith devasted many colonies of the old empire. Some victims suceeded to escape to the Therian peninsula. But the old empire went into chaos while, so the legends tell, the gods planned their offensive to defeat the demongods forever.
- 948 o.C. While the last battle of gods and demongods on the eastern continent big landmasses got destroyed. The land Multhis disappeared in the desert Hazzraddin eternos, eastern landmasses collapsed into the sea Ifrit’s grave, Ystel Island was created. Many demons and races were killed on both continents. The old empire was lost and their culture decayed.
Culture
The early insaani were a mix-up of different tribes and later they created a conjoint culture. It based on a farming culture and the insaani religion. The few bigger settlements were under bigger control of the pharao and many temples were build. Caused by the general isolation of far settlements, the insaani in different territories developed unique art, architecture and cultural behaviour, the belief of the Insaani gods united them. In the time of the old empire, black, yellow and pale skinned humans lived together without discrimination while the black people mostly belonged to the poor settlers and most yellow people lived in the fortified settlements.
Politics
The empire was controlled by the dynasty of Tut-alphas, which sons became pharaos of the empire. it was believed, that Tut-alphas owned the holy blood of the first pharao and his family were praised as gods.
Territories of old empire
The empire quickly had spreaded over a huge are of the continent so many villages were isolated from the core settlements. The pharao was able to rule the empire just because several territories were controlled seperately.
Territory Ner'u-mak
Territory Multhis
Territory Hazraddin
Territory Ar-mak
Economy
Missing other kingdoms, trade only existed between the settlements of the old empire and partly with wild Muckar tribes. The most important goods were corn and fruits and especially wood for the tree-less territories Multhis and Hazraddin.
Military
Not much is known about the military power of the old empire but simple weapons like spears and bows were used, also carts and horses. The army of the pharao fought many demon races before they lost. But also Cattull were seen as enemies.
Legacies of the empire
Untill today, the culture and history of the empire influence the eastern continent. Survivors of the big apocalypse created new cultures on the therian peninsula or in the Kalifate Hatrapedi. Ruins of ancient temples can be found everywhere in the Orlanian lands.
