Background

In the 16th century o.C. the villages of Outlaw hills went into chaos while their independence with the Lion Kingdom. Different rogue groups and mercenary factions declared their claim to power but 1599 o.C. a new strong group of former professional mercenaries succeeded in unite the villages and to control the whole region. Unlike the Wolfpack or Black Foresters the Bull's tribe were professional warriors lead by a strict hierarchy. On top, Cedric, the bull decided as warlord, not to support specific villages for money anymore. Instead, his men began to rob and conquer. Their army grew and soon the Outlaw Hills were under his command. The last big event in the bulls history happened 1611 o.C.: The Bulls sieged the fortress "Knights Kingdom" in Adlersmark to tighten their claim over the Outlaw Hills against the Middle Kingdom, where the Hills oficially still belonged to. The attack failed and the military power and political influence of the bulls decreased jerkily. Today, seperated bulls groups are travelling the villages as robber-knights.

Culture/Behaviour

The bulls are known as the most dangerous groups in the Outlaw Hills. Their members are people, who haven't a family, a future, often not even a past. Surviving by strength is the main intention. Ther're no diplomates. If a settlement doesn't act like the bandits say, the day will end bloody. A "bull" doesn't know any gods or authorities, also their own. It's a typical tradition, that the "warlord", who command a group gets his position by killing the former one. Of course, he needs to get the respect of the whole group. So, only the strongest man is accepted as warlord. Cedric, the bull is still famous because he survived more than 30 coups inside his great army. The bulls live as nomads and take what they need from the places they rob. Carousals and barbarian-like orgies can happen often. The only important thing in life is to be stronger than others, so to gain a bulls respect, show strength. Outsiders are mostly seen as weak.

Military

As mercenary army, the bulls are very talented and trained in different fighting styles. Most warriors prefer brutal styles and use maces, daggersm swords, axes, helebardes, and rarely crossbows. Bigger groups are known to build heavy warmachines like catabults or ballistas. These siege weapons are strong but improvised build and often used to defeat villages defences like walls. Bigger battles are rare today, but 1600-1611 o.C. they also attacked the Middle Kingdom and smaller castles.
