Lupians are a group of humanoid wolfmen seen in earlier time in and near the Outlaw Hills on the western continent.
Biology
Lupians appear as humans with a thick brown or dark fur, small claws at the hands and sharp teeth.
They eat all kind of meat and growl all the night, when they're most active. At daytime, Lupians prefer to sleep somewhere.
Lupians (from the magic language), also called wolfpeople by the human settlers are not compareable to ordinary werewolf myths, they're not mutating, don't react on the moon and acts human-like often. They can walk on their two legs or on all 4 limbs. They can be very quick in movement.
Origin/culture
Not much is known about lupian behaviour or origin. Ther're existing two main theories:
- They came from somwhere in the west or near the swamps of shuzzu and travelled north
- They're a completely new race.
The similarity to human biology support the last. Some people think, lupians aren't a real species but created by magic. Additionally, their first appearances happened at same time when the mysterious druids entered the southern villages of Outlaw hills and many people disappeared traceless.
Their culture is primitive. They walk or run in packs and hunt food, also humans. Lupians react mostly animal-like but with more intelligence. A language is used by simple gruntings.
