Every rung lower on the ladder means you're doing the things the person a rung above doesn't want to do. Like a nurse does things a doctor doesn't want to be bother with, ditto a CNA compared to a nurse. CNAs are typically found at nursing homes/ assisted living facilities, although they are employed by hospitals too. They have the most contact with the patients/clients/residents, and can do things like bathe, feed, dress a person who cannot do such things for themselves.
