Basilisk

A basilisk is a giant snake on the western continent.

Biology

Thought often misinterpreted, the basilisks don't belong to the dragon races nor dinosaurs. They're the biggest snake species on Legonia. So, they're vertebrates, cold-blooded and have no extremities. The poisonous teeth are sharp enough to break plated amor and for their tallnes, the basilisks are moving very fast.

Their main food are animals like cows, janga'repts or also humanoids.

Habitates

It's habitate was spreaded between the southern Ahl'shiara mountains, the lost forests, the southern jungles and the emirate's land once but civilization and hunting decreased the basilisk's last refuges to the deep forests and jungles in the south.

The Janga'basil

The Janga'basil, also named "hell of the jungle" is a mythologic individual appearing as extreme tall basilisk. It's said that Shak'far met him once and still try to reencounter him for a battle of life and death. Somewhere in the southern jungles the Janga'basil, who was created by the god Jangalis, is guarding a giant treasure and hunts for criminals who fled from the Skorpion Emirates.
