Legends about the mysterious southern continent White End mention a human-like people which can survive in the cold ice landscape. These men are called Icemen.

Biology

The existence of the icemen is not known to most legonian cultures so ther're no scientific examinations of their bodies. The body itself is holy for the icemen so they don't care how they are. A fact is that an iceman is ready to survive in very cold environments without freezing. Their bodies are hairless except white, black or grey beards and head hair for about 20% of all males. The skin has to be very thick and owns several grease films similiar to seals. Aside, it's dry and icemen can't perspirate or cry. The blood is blue and warm, the metabolism needs food and water, so it can be possible that the first icemen came from the northern continents long ago and the biology changed to fit the environment, other human races wouldn't survive.

Culture

The icemen travel over the continent to hunt mammals like seals, yetis or mammuts so a basic settlement doesn't exist. They search for caves or build some if they decide to stay on a place for long. Some tales mention a more civilisated culture with underground ice palaces somewhere in the inland under the mountains. Males and females are equal as well as adults and children. Everybody has to do his duties to help the clan survive. Ther're some shamanistic traditions and cults to live a primitive religion, in which nature forces like wind, water and fauna are praised. The shamanes are the only ones who are able to use simple forms of magic. For their spiritual rituals, bones, runes, wood and dead animals are used.
