The Kua are small frog-like people, that live in many warm places connected to water.

Biology

They have a naturally slick skin and feed off of insects and fish found in swamps. Some also have poison that can be secreted through the skin. The Kua know near no magic at all, and are incapable of learning it. Some, however, have become adept at 'mudslinging', the extent of a 'casters' ability. They can sling mud, from even dry places, yet no one knows why.

Culture

As weakest amphibious race they are extremely unintelligent compared to Agami or Temp'la, and are often used as slaves in their societies. The Agami also accept some Kua into their scattered clans, but they are rarely acknowledged, just tolerated by the tempered reptilians. The Agami were also first to domesticate them for pit fighting. Above all things, the Kua are loyal to their masters, and never think to deny them unless a shiny object is involved. The Kua are known for stealing glittering items, and stashing them back in their burrows or slave quarters. Some Kua can become intelligent and literate beings, but only through rigorous amounts of training by a gracious master. This is often expected for slaves of noblemen. It is at this point were question begins to draw. Some do choose to run away to join a more socially inclined society, but often fail because of their short disposition. The Kua are never used as fighters either, as the extent of their fighting ability remains with clubs and other (often wooden) blunt weapons.

When found in the wild, they live in small mud burrows, or beneath the roots of a tree in damp areas.
