Sir Olaaf is the highest commander of the viking fleet and so the unofficial king of all viking settlements. One of his jobs is to allocate captains to their ships and missions. His favourite captain is Haldir.
Because vikings don't write their history in exact documentations and dates but in tales and songs, his birthday is unclear, but people appraises it somewhere 1600-1610. Most parts of his lifetime he lives on his flagship discovering the oceans or patrouilling the viking sea.
He also fought in the big sea battle 1647 o.C. against the orcs.
