The Witchwars were a conclusion of the banishment of witch circles from the Bat Kingdom.

Reasons

When Lord Batman united the people between the Frost Razor mountains and the Ark’thol desert 1598 o.C., he crowned himself and isolated the magical people from his land, who he faired. They were forced to live in a barren landscape near the northern desert and never accepted the batkingdom as legitimated state. In their opinion they would be more intelligent to lead a kingdom while Lord Batman wasn't even a nobleman.

The War

• 1613 o.C. The witchwars began after the magical outsiders invaded the Batkingdom. Smaller settlements were taken quickly because the Fright Knights had no chance against the powerful sorcerors. Only Lord batman's fortress was hold by his giant black dragon over many sieges.
• 1630's The Bat Kingdom decayed after Lord Batman died. In the legends of Ark’thol it got the name Forgotten Kingdom. Noone knows, if some people still live there or left the country, but it was definetely the end of the Witch Wars.

Conclusions

• The culture of the southern humans on the western continent vanished. If the witch circles control the landscape now or not, the forgotten kingdom is a deserted unholy land. The hate and intolerance of humans took what was once a fruitful paradise...
