Elementals are magical creatures made of natural resources that are alive or elementary. They can appear in any kind of form or animal or humanoid-like. Some are will-less and short-living, some have own personalities.

Evocated Elementals
Elemental magic can use the power of simple elements like water, fire, air and earth for the mage's advantage and sometimes creates living creatures. One example are the Ents used by the druids of Outlaw Hills. If the ents of Tronorma have a similiar origin is unknown. Elves avoid to create possible magical lifeforms and see this kind of magic as a crime against nature.
The evocation magic e.g. Ark'tohlian priests calls natural power and forces it into a short-living form. These elementals are normally controlled by their masters but if he isn't powerful enough they can gain an own mind and becoming free elementals. Free elementals are very dangerous because they're creatures without soul and of low intelligence. They're mainly driven by hate for their creators. Another form of elementals can be called by spell-casting magic. The first blue mage Merlin developed several spells who summon short-living forces. E.g. the Phoenix spell.
Elemental ghosts
Different than summoned elementals, this group are ful developed persons with free minds, characters and souls. Elemental ghosts are practical immortal and influences the ways of the mortal races from time to time. They can be good and evil, some are following gods, who created them to guard over special places and others can whorship demon gods. Elemental ghosts are rare and mostly bound to a specific place. They can be evocated by shamanism or at their shrines. Female appearing elementals are called nymphs and mostly reveal to males.
Dryads
Official belonging to the elemental ghosts, dryads are guradians of Legonias plants and trees. They were sent by the gods to create a variety of green stuff in the world's creation process and stayed here after the gods went back to their sphere. The Curcubit dryadis is mentioned as one of their best creations.
Naiads
Water ghosts. Sometimes Nereids or Merrows are misinterpreted as immortal supernatural ocean ghosts while the real naiads are more rare.
Oreads
Living in caves or mountains, mostly with male appearance.
