History

The first civilisation

First dwarven ancients began to life around 400 o.C. as fury monkeymen in the forests of the northern lands.

Between 600-650 o.C. they created their first settlements, about 700 they were able to use fire for working on metalls, so the dwarven civilisation is one of the oldest.

754 o.C. king Murlasch founded the first dwarven kingdom.

778-789 the dwarven kingdom hold the "First War" against the elves.

End of dwarven high culture

891 o.C. the first dwarven kingdom splitted into subfactions, soon they'll face a new enemy, the dragons. Until 1007 o.C. the Dragon rush shouldn't end but together with the elves, the big dragon nests in Deadwood and Dragonia Vulcania were destroyed.

1360 o.C., when the Ice Age started, most dwarven colonies decided to leave the western continent and travelled into the endsea. Only Dwarven Peak stayed.

Culture

Dwarves are mostly friendly, open-minded to visitors, and love drinking, stories and parties. They're also very proud of their work which they show in architecture, smithy and technology. They can be trained to great warriors but prefer to stay where they are. Dwarves aren't big adventurers.
