Description
Aside the White elves the dwarven race is one of the first intelligent peoples in the Living's sphere. Similiar to human in biology but less smaller and more hairy they can be very old but are much stronger than elves.

History
The first civilisation
First dwarven ancients began to life around 10,000 f.C. as fury monkeymen in the forests of the northern lands.
About 1 o.C. they created their first settlements, about 200 they were able to use fire for working on metalls, so the dwarven civilisation is one of the oldest.
504 o.C. king Murlasch founded the first dwarven kingdom.
528-539 the dwarven kingdom hold the "First War" against the elves.
End of dwarven high culture
642 o.C. the first dwarven kingdom splitted into subfactions, soon they'll face a new enemy, the dragons. Until 1007 o.C. the Dragon rush shouldn't end but together with the elves, the big dragon nests in Deadwood and Dragonia Vulcania were destroyed.
1000 o.C., when the Ice Age started, most dwarven colonies decided to leave the western continent and travelled into the endsea. Only Dwarven Peak stayed.
Legacies & New Age
1421 o.C. The settlement of Fanamdur was founded and so the Kingdom Tronorma under king Thur Fanam'aik. Around the same time, several dwarven tribes spread over the eastern continent.
1641 o.C. The dwarven kingdom of dwarven peak made contact with the northern kingdom. The dwarves leave their isolation and start trade with the humans.
Culture
Dwarves are mostly friendly, open-minded to visitors, and love drinking, stories and parties. They're also very proud of their work which they show in architecture, smithy and technology. They can be trained to great warriors but prefer to stay where they are. Dwarves aren't big adventurers. Some differences can be find on different tribes. So, the western dwarves are more shy and suspicious to other races than the eastern ones who live aside human for a long time.
