Biology

Naga are reptiles with strong snake-like bodies and dragon-like heads. Their main habitat is the deep sea of Njanqingshui but they can visit landmasses like the Ophidean isles, too. So, Naga are amphibious beeings. Sharp teeth and claws classify them as hunters and carnivoures. Their favourite victims are dolphins, nereids, merrows and smaller fishes.

Culture

Though appearing primitive and monstrous, Naga own medium intelligence. They're able to create and use wapons like spears and polearms and seperate between friends and enemies. They hate nereids because many of them hold Naga as slaves to domesticate. On other side, Ophidaii are seen as allies. Not much is known about the Naga origin or possible civilisations but it's assumed that they're no creations of Okeanos because they're a threat for most of his or his son Nereus creations. To humans, naga are mostly unknown but sometimes described in old Peng Cheng myths. So, they avoid contact to the upper world but can visit the land if needed.
